The Dallas Cowboys have made Brandon Aubrey the highest-paid kicker in NFL history with a four-year extension averaging $7 million per season. The deal includes $20 million guaranteed and an $8.25 million signing bonus, according to agents Todd France and A.J. Stevens of Athletes First. Aubrey, who turned 31 in March, has been with the Cowboys since 2023 after playing in the USFL.

Since joining Dallas, Aubrey has made the Pro Bowl in each of his three seasons and holds the NFL record for most field goals from 60 yards or more with six. Last season, he connected on 11 of 17 attempts from 50 yards or more. For his career, he's made 112 of 127 field goal attempts (88.2%) with a career-long 65-yarder.

The Cowboys had pursued Aubrey last summer but couldn't close a deal, with the team offering close to $7 million per year while France's asking price was around $10 million. The market for restricted free agents closed last week without another team signing Aubrey to an offer sheet, allowing Dallas to secure their kicker before he hit free agency.
