UConn teammates Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd headlined the AP All-America first team, marking the first time since 2020 that teammates earned the honor together. The pair helped lead the Huskies to an undefeated season heading into March Madness, with Strong receiving unanimous selection from the 31-member national media panel.

Strong, a sophomore, averaged 18.5 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 60.1% from the field. Fudd, also a sophomore, contributed 17.7 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 43.6% from three-point range. Vanderbilt's Mikayla Blakes, UCLA's Lauren Betts, and Texas' Madison Booker rounded out the first team.

Blakes led the nation in scoring at 27 points per game and became only the second Vanderbilt player to earn first-team honors. Betts, a senior, earned the distinction for the second consecutive year, becoming the first UCLA player to achieve back-to-back first-team selections. Booker, a junior, helped Texas win the SEC Tournament with her versatile scoring and playmaking abilities.
