Arkansas secured its first SEC tournament title since 2000 with an 86-75 victory over No. 22 Vanderbilt in Nashville. Darius Acuff Jr. delivered a spectacular performance, scoring 30 points and recording 11 assists to lead the Razorbacks (26-8) to their second SEC tournament championship. The win also earned Arkansas an automatic NCAA tournament berth.

John Calipari made history as the first coach to win SEC tournament titles at two different programs, having previously won six with Kentucky. The title game featured a compelling matchup between Acuff and Vanderbilt's Tyler Tanner, the SEC player and freshman of the year respectively. Acuff showcased his versatility with fadeaway jumpers, three-pointers, and precise passing throughout the contest.

Arkansas sealed the victory with a decisive 12-0 run in the final minutes, snapping a streak of four consecutive losses in SEC tournament finals. Billy Richmond III contributed 18 points while Trevon Brazile added 16 for the Razorbacks. Vanderbilt (26-8), seeking its first title since 2012, saw Duke Miles and Tyler Nickel each score 19 points. The Commodores had entered the championship game on a high after defeating No. 4 Florida 91-74 in the semifinals.
