The NHL offseason continues to churn with significant player movement and contract extensions. Veteran forward Claude Giroux has re-signed with the Ottawa Senators for one year at $5 million, with $2 million counting against the salary cap and $3 million in potential performance bonuses, marking his 20th NHL season Giroux re-signs.
