NHL Transactions and Front Office Moves

The Columbus Blue Jackets have been busy, signing forward Cole Sillinger to a three-year, $13.875 million contract to avoid arbitration. The team also inked goaltender Jet Greaves to a three-year, $15 million deal through the 2028-29 season. In another significant player move, Patrick Kane has agreed to a two-year deal worth an average annual value of $8 million, marking his return to the Chicago Blackhawks for a second stint. Meanwhile, Hockey Hall of Famer Cammi Granato is shifting to an adviser role within the Vancouver Canucks' front office.

Coaching Carousel and League Production

John Tortorella expressed disappointment regarding the Vegas Golden Knights' decision not to retain him following their Stanley Cup Final appearance, but he is already looking toward his next coaching opportunity.
