Cammi Granato, a Hockey Hall of Fame player, is transitioning from her role as assistant general manager to a senior amateur adviser within the Vancouver Canucks' front office. This change comes after five seasons as assistant GM, with general manager Ryan Johnson announcing the move.

Granato expressed her enthusiasm for the new position, stating, "Helping on the amateur side is something I am extremely passionate about, and I am thrilled to continue working with our hockey operations department on that front." She has "great confidence" in the current front office leadership and their vision for the team.

Granato joined the Canucks in February 2022, initially hired by former president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford. She previously made history as the NHL's first female scout with the Seattle Kraken. A decorated Olympian, Granato captained the U.S. women's hockey team to gold at the 1998 Nagano Olympics. The Canucks have recently implemented significant front office changes, including the appointments of Ryan Johnson as GM and franchise icons Henrik and Daniel Sedin as co-presidents of hockey operations.
