The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed goaltender Jet Greaves to a three-year, $15 million contract through the 2028-29 season. General manager Don Waddell expressed excitement about retaining the "high-character, talented and athletic goaltender."

Last season, the 25-year-old Greaves posted a 26-19-9 record with a 2.60 goals-against average, becoming the fifth Blue Jackets goaltender to achieve 25 wins in a season. He recorded two shutouts in 55 games, with a .908 save percentage that tied for sixth among NHL goaltenders. In his career, Greaves has a 36-28-11 record with a .913 save percentage and four shutouts over 76 appearances, making his NHL debut in the 2022-23 season.

A native of Cambridge, Ontario, Greaves also represented Canada internationally at the 2026 IIHF World Championships in Switzerland, finishing 6-2 in the tournament and tying for third in wins.
