The Titans have made guard Peter Skoronski the highest-paid guard in the NFL with a four-year, $100 million extension. The Bills also locked up their offensive line, agreeing to a four-year, $78.4 million deal with right guard O'Cyrus Torrence that includes $46 million guaranteed. Meanwhile, the Saints are adding veteran linebacker help, signing Deion Jones to a one-year deal.

Injury, Suspension, and Return Updates

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is unlikely to play in the preseason opener, according to Andy Reid. Colts cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt will serve a one-game suspension without pay for a conduct policy violation. Seahawks linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence, who nearly retired after winning the Super Bowl, said he is ready for the "hard part" of a title defense. Texans receiver Tank Dell is going for it in his return after nearly two years away due to injury.

Hall of Fame Projections and Training Camp Scuffle

ESPN’s Bill Barnwell went roster by roster to project every active NFL player who could make the Hall of Fame, including 17 who could retire now and get in. In Raiders camp, emotions flared as quarterback Kirk Cousins and star pass rusher Maxx Crosby got into a scuffle before teammates quickly jumped in and separated them.
