Madison River Capital (MRC) has invested in Nexus Power, a Salt Lake City-based provider of power system solutions. The investment aims to fuel Nexus Power's geographic expansion, drive targeted acquisitions in design engineering, and support team growth.

Nexus Power serves a diverse clientele, including government, utilities, data centers, mining, oil and gas, and semiconductor manufacturing sectors. Pete Jones is the president and CEO of Nexus Power.

This move represents MRC's second investment in high-specification electrical infrastructure, following its previous backing of JDC Power Systems. David Wittels, managing partner of Madison River Capital, expressed confidence in Nexus Power's execution and market position, highlighting the company's strong team, customer base, and growth potential.

Legal advisors for MRC included Holland & Knight LLP, while Paul Hastings LLP advised Nexus Power. Bundy Group served as Nexus Power's exclusive financial advisor, and Main Street Capital provided debt financing for the transaction. Nexus Power was founded in 2022.
