Key Line Construction, backed by Gemspring Capital, has merged with Palouse Power, creating a utility infrastructure services platform for the Pacific Northwest. Both companies offer construction and maintenance services for electric distribution, transmission, substation, and communications infrastructure.

The combined entity will serve utility customers across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, and Utah. Tank Parrish and Jeff Zimmer are set to lead the newly formed company. No financial terms of the merger were disclosed.

Gemspring Capital views the utility infrastructure services market as substantial, fragmented, and benefiting from long-term growth drivers. The firm highlighted the strong commitment to safety, quality, and employees demonstrated by both Key Line and Palouse Power.
