New York-based lower middle-market firm Brenton Point Capital Partners has made five hires across investment, finance, and AI functions, growing from seven to 12 employees. Riley Mc Cabe joins as vice president, Jagger Gillman as senior associate, and Lorenzo Di Sarro as associate on the investment team. John Gokey joins finance as finance associate, and Vir Sawhney is named AI builder.

Tim Hall, founder and managing partner, said 2026 has been an important year of growth and highlighted Sawhney's skill in building practical AI tools. Brenton Point added two platform companies this year: Lakeshore Ag Distributors and Merit Restorations. Its portfolio also includes Easton Select Group, Premier Equipment Solutions, and Landmark Funeral Group.

Mc Cabe came from Turnspire Capital Partners, where he worked on lower middle-market special situations investments. Gillman was at HIG Capital's infrastructure fund and Piper Sandler. Di Sarro joined from UBS, and Gokey from Deloitte. Sawhney previously interned at Incline Equity Partners and developed an AI-powered investment research platform.
