Apple's upcoming product lineup appears to be taking shape after Filipe Espósito discovered three codenames in macOS 26.3's source code. The J700 codename points to a lower-cost MacBook, while J427 and J527 reference two new Studio Display models. These codenames have appeared in previous software updates, including macOS 26.2 and iOS 18.5.

According to earlier reporting from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the lower-cost MacBook will use a version of the iPhone 16 Pro's A18 Pro chip rather than an M-series processor. The laptop is expected to launch in a variety of bright colors including yellow, green, blue, and pink, with a 12.9-inch display and 8GB of RAM. Pricing estimates range from $599 to $799 in the United States.

The Studio Display updates are rumored to feature significant upgrades, with at least one model including a 27-inch screen with mini-LED backlighting, HDR support, and either an A19 or A19 Pro chip. Refresh rates could reach up to 120Hz. While the MacBook is expected to debut at Apple's March 4 event, the Studio Displays may arrive later in 2026. The current Studio Display, launched in March 2022, starts at $1,599 in the U.S.
