Apple is preparing a wave of new product launches following a quiet start to 2026, according to Mark Gurman's latest report. The company plans to unveil several new Macs, including a new low-cost MacBook powered by the A18 Pro chip, an M5 MacBook Air, and updated M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros. A new external Mac display with a higher refresh rate is also in development.

This flurry of activity follows the base M5 MacBook Pro's launch last fall. The new low-cost MacBook, featuring a display slightly smaller than 13 inches and multiple color options, is positioned as a potentially major product shift. Gurman previously tied the MacBook Pro updates to the macOS 26.3 cycle, with an event now slated for as early as the week of March 2.

Beyond Macs, Apple will soon launch the iPhone 17e, a new base model iPad, and an M4 iPad Air. The simultaneous refresh of its core computing and mobile lines signals an aggressive start to the year, directly targeting consumers with updated silicon across price tiers and form factors.
