Xiaomi has brought its 17T and 17T Pro smartphones to the Chinese market, just weeks after the global launch. The standout upgrade arrives on the standard 17T model, which now features a 7,000mAh Si/C battery matching the Pro variant's capacity. This represents a notable 500mAh increase over the international version, while maintaining the same 67W charging limit.

Both models share similar core specifications despite the battery adjustment. The Xiaomi 17T sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display at FHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Camera setup includes a 50MP main shooter, 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.

The larger 17T Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel at 144Hz, equipped with the more powerful Dimensity 9500 SoC and support for up to 16GB RAM. It also includes a larger main camera sensor at 1/1.31-inch size and 8K video recording capability. Pricing starts at CNY 2,999 ($443) for the base 17T model, while the Pro begins at CNY 3,999 ($591).

These China-specific variants primarily differ in memory configurations and battery capacity, positioning Xiaomi competitively in its home market against rivals like Huawei and Oppo. The pricing strategy reflects Xiaomi's typical value-focused approach, undercutting comparable flagships from Samsung and Apple.
