Xiaomi unveiled the 17T and 17T Pro, the first T‑series phones since the 15T line. Both carry a 50 MP periscope lens with 5× optical zoom, a jump from the 2× module on the 15T. The sensor also supports 10× “optical‑grade” zoom and 30 cm tele‑macro shots, paired with a 12 MP ultra‑wide and a 32 MP front camera.

The 17T shrinks to a 6.59‑inch 120 Hz OLED panel, while the Pro keeps a 6.83‑inch screen but bumps refresh to 144 Hz and adds a 1‑nit ultra‑dim mode. Brightness tops 3,500 nits on both, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Battery capacity jumps to 6,500 mAh on the base model and 7,000 mAh on the Pro, with 67 W and 100 W HyperCharge respectively.

Powering the 17T is a Dimensity 8500 chipset, 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage; the Pro steps up to a 3 nm Dimensity 9500, 12 GB RAM and a 1 TB storage option. Pricing starts at €750 for the 17T and €900 for the Pro, a €100 rise over last year, bundled with three months of Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium and Spotify trials. The lineup pushes Xiaomi’s flagship tier higher in performance and endurance.
