Xiaomi has pinned down the release of its 17T and 17T Pro smartphones to May 28, labeling the move "the biggest T Series upgrade yet." The announcement arrives amid a flood of leaks that detail the devices’ high‑end specs.

Both models will run MediaTek silicon: the 17T will house a Dimensity 8500‑Ultra, while the 17T Pro is slated for the flagship Dimensity 9500 SoC. Screen sizes differ, with the Pro offering a 6.83‑inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED and the base model sporting a 6.59‑inch FHD+ 120Hz panel.

Camera arrays remain consistent, featuring 50MP main sensors—Light Fusion 800 on the 17T and Light Fusion 950 on the Pro—plus a shared 50MP telephoto, 5x optical zoom, and 12MP ultrawide lens. Battery capacities and charging speeds diverge, with the 17T launching with a 6,500mAh cell and 67W wired charging, while the Pro carries a 7,000mAh battery, 100W wired and 50W wireless options.

Pricing targets Europe, starting at €749 ($878) for the 17T and €999 ($1,170) for the 17T Pro, positioning Xiaomi firmly against flagship rivals in the mid‑premium segment.
