Xiaomi has launched the 17T smartphone in India, available in violet, blue, and black colors with two memory configurations. The 12GB/256GB model costs INR59,999 ($625/€540), while the 12GB/512GB variant is priced at INR64,999 ($680/€585). The device will go on sale starting June 10 through Xiaomi's Indian website, Amazon.in, and retail stores.

The Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC powers the 17T, running Android 16-based HyperOS 3. It features a 6.59" 1,268p 120Hz AMOLED display and packs a 6,500 mAh Si/C battery with 67W wired charging. Camera setup includes a 32MP selfie and a triple rear system with 50MP primary, 50MP periscope telephoto (5x optical zoom), and 12MP ultrawide units, all co-developed with Leica.

Additional highlights include an IP68 rating, stereo speakers, Dolby Vision, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi also unveiled the 17T Pro last week, but its Indian launch remains uncertain. The 17T positions itself as a premium mid-range device with professional-grade photography capabilities and impressive battery life.
