Samsung's July 22 Unpacked: Foldables, Watches Leaked

Samsung is set to unveil its next generation of foldable phones and smartwatches at an event on July 22 in London. Official-looking renders have surfaced for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Flip8, Watch9, and Watch Ultra2, offering a detailed preview of the upcoming devices.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch main display, weighing approximately 200g and measuring 4.5mm unfolded. It will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB to 1TB of storage, powered by a 4,800 mAh battery. The Z Fold8 Ultra, a larger variant, will also use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, offer 12GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging, alongside a 200MP main camera.

The Galaxy Z Flip8 is rumored to use the Exynos 2600 SoC in some regions, weigh 180g, and house a 4,300 mAh battery. Both the Galaxy Watch9 (in 40mm and 44mm sizes) and the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 (47mm) have also been rendered. All these devices are anticipated to see price increases over their predecessors, signaling a trend of premium pricing for Samsung's latest mobile tech.
