Samsung is set to host its summer 2026 Galaxy Unpacked event, likely in London on July 22, after a leak from the *Korea Economic Times*. The company will unveil up to four foldable phones, including the headline Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8.
The Fold 8 will build on last year’s slimmer design with a refined flat edge and a less visible crease, while a rumored 5,000‑mAh battery supports 45W charging. Internally, the phone will ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, keeping pace with the S26 series.
A new Wide Fold could counter Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone, offering a 4:3 aspect‑ratio display that unfolds into a tablet‑like experience. Expected specs include a 5.4‑inch cover, 7.6‑inch inner screen, and a 4,800‑mAh battery.
Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Watch 9 during the same event. With live streams on YouTube and the newsroom page, consumers can watch the reveal from any device and pre‑register for early access to the new foldables.
