Samsung will host its next Galaxy Unpacked in London on July 22, aiming to broaden its foldable lineup swim to keep pace with Apple’s delayed foldable iPhone. The company promises to unveil its newest Galaxy innovations that build on its foldable leadership, though specifics remain sparse.

Rumors point to a refreshed Galaxy Z Flip 8, a compact foldable that will feature a reworked hinge, higher performance and a lighter chassis. The global RAM shortage may limit major hardware shifts, keeping the design largely familiar.

A more striking move would be the arrival of two Galaxy Z Fold 8 variants. The base model could sport a wider main display for a better movie‑watching aspect ratio but may drop to two rear cameras instead of the three seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra would push the envelope further with a near‑crisp display crease, a newer processor, three rear cameras and potentially faster charging.

Samsung may also preview Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and its upcoming Android XR glasses. Pre‑orders now offer a $30 credit. The event will be livestreamed on Samsung.com and YouTube at 9 AM ET/6 AM PT.
