The EasySMX S10 Lite is a surprisingly affordable Switch 2 controller priced at $40—well below Nintendo's $90 Pro Controller and most competitors. It features Hall effect sticks with soft-hit feel, tactile buttons, motion controls, and strong haptics. The controller is light, compact, and comes in ice blue or pastel pink.
Two rear buttons are mappable via an M-input, though placement could be better. Face buttons use clicky microswitches, while triggers have similar action. The standout feature is a semi-transparent, magnetically attached faceplate that feels cheap and wonky, which undermines the controller's otherwise solid build.
Marketing around custom faceplate options has added confusion. Despite the faceplate, the S10 Lite offers impressive modern features at a great price point, making it a compelling budget option for Switch 2 gamers.
