Apple TV’s new crime thriller Nocturne premieres tonight, starring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham as a chilling serial killer. Early reviews praise Graham’s performance as “impossible to stop watching,” with The Guardian comparing him to Anthony Hopkins’ Hannibal Lecter. The series follows ex-soldier Jonah Lynn (Schreiber), who moves to a quiet Pennsylvania town only to face the diabolical killer Jurek Walter (Graham).
Based on Lars Kepler’s bestselling novels Lazarus and The Sandman, Nocturne blends suspense and psychological tension. While some critics found early episodes slow, most call it a knockout thriller. The first two episodes drop tonight, with weekly releases through December 25.
Apple TV is available for $14.99/month or via the Apple One bundle.
