Samsung's upcoming foldable phones and smartwatches have cleared FCC certification, signaling an imminent U.S. launch. Android Authority traced model numbers SM-F776U, SM-F976U, SM-L340, SM-L345, SM-L350, SM-L355, and SM-L715 to devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Watch 9 series. FCC filings typically appear weeks before products hit shelves, confirming the rollout is near.

The filings reveal four foldable models and four Watch 9 variants, plus the Watch Ultra 2 cellular. Analysts expect the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra to inherit a larger battery, a newer chipset and possibly S Pen support, while the rumored Fold 8 Wide aims to compete with Apple’s anticipated foldable iPhone. The absence of a Wide filing suggests its documents are pending.

With FCC data confirming hardware readiness, Samsung’s July 22 Galaxy Unpacked event appears on schedule to unveil the new lineup. Consumers can anticipate incremental upgrades rather than a radical redesign, keeping Samsung’s foldable line ahead of rivals. The company’s aggressive filing cadence underscores its commitment to dominate the premium foldable market in the global arena this year.
