Samsung's Galaxy A27 has appeared in Geekbench benchmarks, revealing a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. The prototype scored 777 in single-core and 1,802 in multi-core tests, suggesting solid mid-range performance. This marks a significant shift from previous A-series models that used Exynos chipsets.

The Galaxy A27 was expected to launch alongside the A37 and A57 in March but was delayed. The benchmark leak confirms it's still in development and will ship with Android 16 out of the box. Samsung appears to be standardizing its mid-range lineup with Qualcomm processors, abandoning its in-house Exynos chips for this model.

While additional RAM configurations are likely, the 6GB/6GB configuration spotted suggests Samsung is targeting the mid-range market with competitive pricing. The company has yet to announce an official release date, but the Geekbench appearance typically indicates a launch is imminent. This chipset change could improve performance consistency across regions compared to the previous generation's regional chip variations.
