Samsung is expanding its wearables lineup with AI-powered smart glasses, branded as "Intelligent Eyewear." These glasses, developed in collaboration with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, aim for mainstream adoption with on-device cameras and hands-free access to Google Gemini.

The eyewear runs on Android XR and features built-in speakers, allowing users to interact with Google's AI assistant. The cameras enable real-time translation, navigation, and notification summaries, controllable via voice or touch-sensitive temples. Both designs utilize Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset.

The Gentle Monster version sports a "cat-eye" oval shape, while the Warby Parker models resemble Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Both come with charging cases capable of providing up to seven full charges. While the demo units felt sturdy, they were prone to fingerprints. Samsung has yet to announce official pricing or a release date for these upcoming AI glasses.
