The latest trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, directed by Zach Cregger, offers a fresh take on the beloved survival horror franchise. Set on the outskirts of the Resident Evil 2 game's events, the film follows medical courier Bryan (Austin Abrams) on a perilous delivery mission beyond Raccoon City.

Things quickly descend into chaos as Bryan encounters terrifying creatures and struggles to survive in an isolated farmhouse. While perhaps less overtly terrifying than previous glimpses, the new trailer still delivers unnerving moments, such as Bryan's return to a blood-soaked hospital where a small hand, potentially a zombie newborn's, emerges from a cot.
