Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip8 arrives as a compact foldable with incremental upgrades over its predecessor. The device features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness, plus a 4.1-inch cover screen. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 depending on region, it includes 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.

The camera setup remains familiar with a 50MP main and 12MP ultrawide on the back, and a 10MP inner selfie camera. A 4,300mAh battery supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. The phone maintains IP48 water resistance and runs Android 17 with One UI 9.

Despite these specs, changes from the Z Flip7 are minimal - mainly a new chip, slightly higher brightness, and fresh colors. Pricing starts at €849 for the base model.

The Z Flip8 competes in the foldable market but may struggle to justify its cost against the previous generation, which could become a better value option.
