Samsung Galaxy A27 review: specs, design and price

Samsung launched the Galaxy A27 in the US, Europe and India. It swaps the teardrop cutout for a punch‑hole display and upgrades to a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, replacing the 5nm Exynos 1380. Memory options jump to 6 GB or 8 GB, dropping the previous 4 GB variant. Battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh.

The chassis echoes the A57 and A37 with a colored camera island, though the Black version shows little contrast. Colors include Blue, Light Green and Light Pink. Main sensor stays 8 MP, but the ultrawide falls to 5 MP from 8 MP. IP rating drops from IP67 to IP64. Pricing begins at €350 for the 6/128 GB variant, while some retailers list it around €280, undercutting the Poco X8 Pro that costs just over €350 with twice the storage.

Hands‑on impressions note a solid, well‑sized feel, but the glossy finish attracts fingerprints and dust, and the pastel hues do little to mask them. At €350 the A27 sits close to the Poco X8 Pro’s price while offering lower‑resolution ultrawide and weaker water resistance. The box includes only a USB‑C cable, and detailed performance tests are pending.
