Samsung Galaxy A27 leaks reveal hole-punch design and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3

Samsung Galaxy A27 design details have started leaking through phone case renders, confirming the mid-range handset will borrow heavily from the Galaxy A57 and A37. The case images show an oval-shaped camera island with a circular LED flash positioned similarly to its pricier siblings. A more significant change: the A27 ditches the V-shaped notch for a hole-punch selfie camera, finally bringing a modern look to Samsung's lower-end lineup.

Earlier this month Samsung officially confirmed the A27 is coming, and a Geekbench run from April already points to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The device is expected to run Android 16 at launch and may include an improved selfie camera. These specs place it firmly in the budget-to-mid-range bracket that competes directly with the Galaxy A37.

The case renders reinforce what we already saw in CAD-based renders from about a month ago, giving a clearer picture of Samsung's design strategy. By aligning the A27's look with the A57 and A37, Samsung simplifies its product lineup while the hole-punch display signals a meaningful upgrade for budget buyers who want a contemporary screen aesthetic.
