Samsung launched the Galaxy A27 5G in India today, offering the device in Light Green, Light Pink, and Black. Three variants are available: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage at INR31,999, 8GB/128GB at INR34,999, and 8GB/256GB at INR40,499. Sales begin July 3 through Samsung's website, exclusive stores, and online platforms, with INR3,000 cashback on bank and UPI payments.

The phone runs Android 16-based One UI 8.5 and includes six years of security updates plus six major Android upgrades. Samsung's commitment to long-term software support positions this mid-range device competitively against brands that typically offer shorter update cycles. The Galaxy A27 targets consumers seeking premium features without flagship pricing.

A 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display dominates the front, while a quad-camera setup handles photography duties. The system includes a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 12MP selfie camera. A 5,000 mAh battery supports 25W fast charging to keep the device running through extended use.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC connectivity, and microSD expansion supporting up to 2TB. The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Notably, Samsung omitted DeX support on the Indian variant, which may disappoint power users expecting desktop integration capabilities.
