Notably, 45% of these pre-orders originated from Tier 2 cities and below, a trend Samsung interprets as indicative of substantial untapped market potential. The company suggests this reflects not only the broad appeal of foldable smartphones but also a shift in consumer behavior, with innovation increasingly reaching beyond major metropolitan areas.
