Oppo officially launched the Reno16 Pro and standard Reno16 in China, both featuring a 200MP main rear camera with OIS. The Pro model runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, while the standard Reno16 uses the Dimensity 8550 Super SoC paired with a smaller 6.32-inch OLED panel. Both offer 120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness up to 3,600 nits.

The rear camera setup is identical on both phones: 200MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide with 116-degree FoV. Front cameras sit at 50MP for selfies. The Reno16 Pro packs a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, plus Wi-Fi 7. The standard model holds a 6,700mAh cell with 80W wired charging only and Wi-Fi 6.

Pricing starts at CNY 4,499 ($660) for the Reno16 Pro 12GB/256GB and CNY 3,499 ($515) for the Reno16 equivalent. Sales begin May 29. Both phones carry an IP69K rating, OriginOS 16, NFC, and IR blasters. Color options include Dreamy Blue, Galaxy Purple, and Moonlit Night Black.
