OnePlus 15T Camera Shows Minimal Upgrades

OnePlus appears to be taking minimal camera upgrades for the upcoming 15T, according to a recent Chinese leak. The successor to last April's 13T shows disappointing camera specifications that largely mirror its predecessor, with only minor changes to the telephoto aperture that actually represent a downgrade.

The leaked specs reveal the 15T will feature the same 50MP Sony Lytia 700 main sensor with OIS and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 telephoto sensor. The only change is a telephoto aperture downgrade from f/2.0 to f/2.8, while the main camera maintains its f/1.8 aperture. This minimal camera upgrade comes despite other rumored premium features.

Previous leaks suggest the device will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and the largest battery ever in a OnePlus device. With expected launch in early Q2 2026, consumers hoping for camera advancements may need to temper expectations. This strategy could position the 15T as a mid-range option despite flagship internals.
