Honor launched a refreshed version of its X70 smartphone and its first fitness-focused smartwatch. The Honor X70 Refresh Edition arrives with a new Sunrise Gold color, MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and a $44 price bump over the original X70. Despite these changes, the core specs remain identical: a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 50MP camera, and a massive 8,300mAh battery with 80W charging. This refreshed model is expected to remain exclusive to China, starting at CNY 1,699 ($247) for the base 8/128GB version and reaching CNY 2,399 ($349) with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Complementing the X70 Refresh, Honor unveiled the Watch X5i, a fitness-oriented smartwatch. It features a 1.97-inch AMOLED screen, 24/7 health tracking (heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress), and support for 100 sports modes. The Watch X5i boasts up to 21 days of battery life under normal use and 6 days with Always On Display, powered by a 420mAh battery. It includes Bluetooth 5.4, on-device calling, and compatibility with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS. The smartwatch, available in Midnight Black and Starlight White, starts at CNY 219 ($32) and ships on April 15th.

This launch solidifies Honor's strategy of offering premium features in its X-series smartphones while expanding its wearable ecosystem with a dedicated fitness watch, though the Watch X5i lacks third-party app support.
