Ayaneo has set a concrete timetable for its highly anticipated Next 2 Windows gaming handheld. Production of core components—motherboard, screen, battery—has already begun, and the company plans to launch trial runs in early June, followed by mass production midway through the month. First shipments to Indiegogo backers are slated for late June and 24‑hour delivery, right away.

The company halted new orders on March 23, citing supply constraints that make additional production uncertain. Customers can still register preferred configurations and color choices, with Ayaneo promising to inform interested parties should extra slots become available. However, the firm stresses it cannot guarantee any expansion beyond the current plan for the foreseeable future and no backlogs.

Production of the Konkr Fit, another Windows handheld from Ayaneo, is slated to begin by month’s end, positioning it for a June launch if the schedule holds. The company’s focus on rapid component assembly reflects a broader push among handheld makers to reduce lead times and meet growing demand for portable Windows gaming rigs.

With shipping dates now firm, enthusiasts can plan purchases ahead of the crowded summer release window. The Next 2’s early June rollout marks a significant step toward establishing Ayaneo as a serious competitor in the handheld market, potentially reshaping how Windows PCs are portable for gamers craving desktop‑level performance on the go, and for developers targeting a new niche platform.
