Sony has unveiled its first True RGB Bravia TVs, adding a new naming tier to its Mini‑LED range. The flagship Bravia 9 II starts at 65 inches, while the more budget‑friendly Bravia 7 II begins at 50 inches. Both series use independently driven red, green and blue LEDs, a departure from standard Mini‑LED clusters that promises richer color and higher peak brightness.

Each LED is managed by Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro, delivering wide viewing angles and reduced blooming. The panels also incorporate Voice Zoom 3, an AI‑driven algorithm that lifts dialogue clarity without manual tweaking. A slim transparent stand gives the sets a floating appearance, while Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced support round out the picture‑and‑sound package.

The top‑end Bravia 9 II adds Immersive Black Screen Pro, an anti‑glare coating designed to keep deep blacks even in bright rooms, and up‑firing beam tweeters for cinema‑grade audio. Pricing runs from $3,600 for the 65‑inch model up to $31,000 for a 115‑inch theater‑sized unit, while the Bravia 7 II spans $1,600 to $9,000 across six sizes. Pre‑orders are live, putting the True RGB experience within reach for premium‑home theater shoppers.
