At CES 2026, Samsung announced a major overhaul of its Mobile Gaming Hub for Galaxy devices. The update aims to fix what company VP Jong Woo calls "broken" mobile game discovery. It consolidates titles from Google Play and the Galaxy Store into one hub, offering personalized recommendations and cloud streaming for instant play without downloads.

The refresh targets a core mobile gaming pain point: finding new content. Woo explained that while over 160 million users access the hub, the experience remains isolating compared to PC and console platforms. The new design emphasizes up-and-coming titles and community features like sharing creator highlights to combat the solitary nature of mobile play.

Currently, the revamped hub is exclusive to Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets, with non-Galaxy users on the older version. Samsung aims to build a more engaging space that mirrors the discovery experiences of services like Steam. This move positions the hub as a central portal, not just a game launcher, for the massive mobile market.
