Minecraft World will open as a permanent London theme park in 2027, becoming a new section at Chessington World of Adventures. The 35-minute train ride from London's Waterloo will feature a roller coaster, interactive adventures, and block-built playscapes. Mojang Studios and Merlin Entertainments are collaborating on the project, aiming for an immersive experience with Minecraft-themed retail and dining options.

Beyond the theme park, Minecraft Experience: Moonlight Trail will launch in Buenos Aires this May, offering visitors an hour-long nighttime adventure through iconic game biomes. Participants can craft gear, mine diamonds, battle mobs, and help restore an ancient beacon during this outdoor pop-up event.

The game itself continues evolving with Tiny Takeover launching March 24, featuring redesigned baby mobs and a golden dandelion that keeps mobs young. Later this year, Chaos Cubed will introduce a sulfur cube with variable physics properties, while Minecraft Dungeons II has been officially announced as the sequel to the 2020 spinoff.
