Sidekick Publishing and developer Randwerk have partnered to release Wanderburg, a minimalist open-world roguelike that's generating significant buzz. The game, inspired by Mortal Engines and Howl's Moving Castle, features an ecosystem of Castles on Wheels where players consume, grow, and upgrade modules to survive.

A surprise playable demo launches today as part of Steam Next Fest, following the game's breakout reveal at the 2025 PC Gaming Show. The trailer has amassed over 470,000 views, while the game has collected more than 250,000 wishlists and attracted 126,000 participants in a recent closed playtest.
