Bandai Namco has announced Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, a new virtual reality game set in the eerie Little Nightmares universe. Developed by Iconik rather than the original Tarsier Studios, this adventure horror puzzle game puts players in control of Dark Six, the dark doppelganger of protagonist Six, on a journey to reunite with her original self.

Set in the nightmarish world of Nowhere, accessible only through dreams, the game features new locations filled with dangerous creatures including human-like Residents. The Thin Man, antagonist from the second installment, returns to haunt players. The game promises an immersive first-person perspective within an atmospheric universe that expands the franchise's lore.

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes launches on April 24, 2026, and is optimized for major VR platforms including PSVR2, Meta Quest 2/3/3s, Oculus Rift/Rift S, Pico 4, Valve Index, and HTC Vive. While optimized for these headsets, it also works with other PC VR devices. Players can already add the game to their Wishlist on PlayStation, Steam, and Meta stores.
