Xiaomi's next foldable, tentatively called the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, has allegedly been certified by China's MIIT with model number 2608 BPX34C. The device is expected to feature a wider form factor similar to the Galaxy Z Fold8 and iPhone Ultra, with a 7.6" folding screen.

Rumored specs include Xiaomi's own Xring O3 SoC, Android 17 with Hyper OS 4, a 200MP main camera, 6,000 mAh battery, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, Thailand's NBTC has certified the global Redmi Note 17 (model 26081 RA18G) and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max (model 2609 FRA74G).

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max reportedly packs a massive 9,210 mAh battery with 100W fast charging and IP68 rating, offered in four RAM/storage combos. The standard Redmi Note 17 mirrors its Chinese variant but with a slightly smaller 7,700 mAh battery versus 8,000 mAh, and is expected to launch in India on August 6.
