The Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max are going global, succeeding the Redmi Note 15 Pro and 15 Pro+. Both feature 6.83" OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 12-bit colors, and up to 3,500 nits brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro packs an 8,340mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, up from 6,580mAh, with 67W Hyper Charge. It's powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage.

The Pro Max features a larger 9,210mAh Si/C battery with 100W charging, lasting up to 37 hours of video playback. It uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset on a TSMC 4nm node, with 8GB or 12GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage on higher capacities.

Both phones are rated IP66 and IP68, weigh around 223-225g, and measure 8.6mm thick. The 200MP cameras from previous generations are gone. Xiaomi claims the phones can survive 72 hours under 3m of water.
