LG Electronics is introducing a new 'Creator Original' picture mode for select 2026 OLED evo TV models, developed in collaboration with Prime Video. This mode offers studios more control over picture settings for streaming content than existing options like Filmmaker Mode.

While Filmmaker Mode disables post-processing for a natural look, Creator Original allows studios to adjust parameters such as shadow detail, color balance, noise reduction, and motion handling to match their creative intent. This feature will initially be available on the 2026 LG OLED evo W6, G6, and C6 series.

The launch is tied to Prime Video's upcoming Masters of the Universe movie. Users with LG Smart TVs running webOS 23 or later can use a voice command, "I have the power," on the Magic Remote to access content related to the movie. The G6 and C6 models are priced between $2K and $5K, featuring support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and 12-bit image processing.
