This week brought the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra, with both models already available and early bird pricing still in effect. The Poco F9 Ultra focuses on two key upgrades over its predecessor, headlined by a new 200MP main camera replacing the older 50MP 1/1.31" module, helping bridge the gap between 1x and the 5x optical zoom on the 50MP periscope. The other major change is the battery, now at 8,050mAh up from 6,500mAh, while charging remains at 100W wired and 50W wireless. The phone keeps the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset as last year.

The Poco F9 Pro upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series, an Elite Gen 5 with a cut-down GPU, still a solid jump over the original Snapdragon 8 Elite in the F8 Pro. It also gains the same 200MP main camera as the Ultra, while retaining the 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera from the previous model. Battery capacity rises modestly to 6,330mAh from 6,210mAh, and 50W wireless charging now joins the 100W wired speeds.
