A separate report confirms the wallpaper and shortcut features are headed for the final build, while additional rumors point to improved writing tools and generated wallpapers as part of a broader catch-up effort against competitors. The feature set positions iOS 27 as Apple's most aggressive AI-driven update to date, with the company clearly betting that generative tools will differentiate the platform ahead of the fall hardware cycle. The iPhone pipeline remains in flux.
