Health data from an Apple Watch and iPhone Messages history are being used as evidence in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, detailing her actions before the alleged triple homicide of her children in Massachusetts in 2023. Digital forensics expert Ian Whiffin of Cellebrite testified about search histories showing queries like "how quickly does wellbutrin work for depression" and "ketamine for suicidal ideation." Phone data revealed Clancy's iPhone was last unlocked at 5:13 P.M. on January 24, with calls from her now-ex-husband Patrick at 5:33 P.M. and 6:09 P.M.

Apple Watch data showed her last recorded heart rate was 57 beats per minute, along with climbing two flights of stairs at 5:03 P.M. and 5:33 P.M. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington challenged the data's accuracy, noting the Apple Watch stopped recording at 5:23 P.M. while the iPhone ceased at 5:38 P.M.

This digital evidence follows earlier testimony where final texts between Clancy and Patrick were read in court, including a message about take-out food that prosecutors argue was used to send Patrick away from the children. Notes from her iPhone revealed she had expressed anxiety and sought psychiatric help, with one note last modified on January 23, the day before the alleged killings.
