Leaks on social media suggest Xiaomi is developing a "smart privacy display" feature, similar to Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra. This feature would prevent others from viewing your screen from angles and could alert you when someone is looking.

According to Polish tipster Kacper, Xiaomi's version would automatically protect payments, texts, and logins. A screenshot shows a settings page with the description: "screen visibility is reduced. Your device will alert you when another person's gaze is detected."

The leak also mentions a "scenario" feature, allowing users to group apps or notifications under the privacy display's protection. If not customized, Xiaomi will automatically enable protection for sensitive pages.

This feature is expected to debut with Hyper OS 4.0, possibly revealed in October alongside the Xiaomi 18 series. While Samsung's privacy display has been around, Xiaomi's implementation could add unique twists, making it a compelling option for privacy-conscious users.
