Meta is rolling out another update for its smart glasses to close a loophole that allowed users to cover the capture LED while recording. The new update automatically stops video recording if the LED is covered after recording starts. This follows earlier measures that blocked recording if the LED was tampered with.

Meta says several businesses offering LED tampering services have shut down, and it has removed accounts and posts related to such services. The company aims to ensure bystanders can always tell when the glasses are capturing photos or videos.
