Samsung has released One UI 8.5 beta 4 for Galaxy S25 users, focusing on stability improvements ahead of the Galaxy S26 launch. The update, rolling out in South Korea, India, Germany, the UK, and the US, includes the February 2026 security patch and weighs approximately 1.5 GB. This latest beta follows the December release of beta 3.

According to the official changelog, Samsung has addressed several bugs including a lock screen clock issue, AI Select functionality problems, and call routing glitches when using Bluetooth headsets. The company has also fixed issues with search history in the Phone app and pasting phone numbers into the keypad. These fixes demonstrate Samsung's commitment to polishing the software before the Galaxy S26 series debut.

What's particularly noteworthy is the addition of a new Direct Voicemail feature to the Phone app. Similar to functionality on Pixel phones and iPhones, this feature allows users to automatically send calls to voicemail after a set period or route all incoming calls directly to voicemail. The voicemail is transcribed live, letting users view both audio and text inside the Phone app. The feature works on-device and doesn't depend on carrier support, giving users more control over their call management.

Quick Fact: The One UI 8.5 beta 4 update includes the February 2026 security patch.
