An early Geekbench listing has surfaced for Samsung’s next flagship SoC, the Exynos 2700. The leak shows a 10‑core CPU with a prime core around 2.88 GHz and six efficiency cores near 2.4 GHz. Paired with an Xclipse 970 GPU, the chip is rumored to deliver roughly a 12% uplift over the preceding Exynos 2600. Benchmark scores place it between the current mid‑range and high‑end tiers.

Samsung’s hardware VP Moon Sung‑hoon recently outlined a mid‑to‑long‑term roadmap that pushes Exynos silicon into more Galaxy models worldwide. The company is also tackling the heat issues that have plagued earlier chips, reportedly leveraging HPB technology to improve thermal performance. The prior Exynos 2600, launched late last year, boasted a 39% CPU gain over its predecessor. These moves aim to restore brand confidence.

If the performance claims hold up, the 2nm Exynos 2700 could give Qualcomm’s Snapdragon line a credible alternative in flagship phones, especially in markets where Samsung favors in‑house silicon. Consumers may see the chip in upcoming Galaxy S‑series units, narrowing the spec gap that has long divided regional variants. Real‑world efficiency will decide.
